ART REPUBLIC

Vering was never trying to paint some “things”, he wants tocatch some feelings. It’s so fragile, fleeting, incontiguous, broken, whileit’s so profound, impressive, deep and essential.

In The Republic, Plato introduced the theory of Forms, whichposits that the physical world is less real than the abstract "Form"or "Idea." Every object has its own ideal Form. Regardless of correctness,it offers a fascinating perspective on the one-to-one relationship betweenobject and its Form. This idea deeply influenced his perspective to the world, especially those forms beyond objects themselves, and beyond understanding. Heis essentially painting the relationships between various elements—whether theyare objects, ideas, or a combination of both. The world starts to make sensewhen we recognize that nothing exists in isolation; everything isinterconnected. Sorrow and happiness arise together, flow with the world andus.

If the approach has to align with the capture of feeling, itmust be straying, winding, repeating and broken. There is never an outline ordesign, it’s starting at nowhere and stopping at any time. Perhaps it is inthis pure pursuit that freedom exists.
